I just join this forum, and I do have some very important
thoughts and opinions to share as a Human Rights Activist.
Who is involved with different global rights organization to
fight the high cost of Water that we ALL was so freely blessed
with.
At the present time I am fighting to prevent senior citizens
from losing their homes because of high water & sewage rates.
These people can't afford to pay a $300.00 quartly sewage bill
that (don't include the water fee). Many of these homeowners
has worked all their lifes to keep these homes, and if they can't
pay these bills their homes goes up for foreclosing on their
Taxes.
Again, Water is a gift to mankind, and we (as) human beings
can't allow water to be privatized. In closing...I have traveled
all over the global. I have been where a class of water cost
25 cents (some places) 50cents. Water is free, and lets keep
it that way. I would like to read other people's comments,
and let's not wait until the problem hits home before we take
a stand. |

Hello HumanRights Activist! Welcome to ScienceClarified !!
Could you please clarify which country these senior citizens live in and how it is they are paying $100 per month for water and sewage service? How is it you are involved in this particular dispute?
In America we pay for water and sewage services. We also pay up to $2 for a bottle of water. In some instances even higher. I particularly like to purchase a 16 ounce bottle of water with spearment added for a nice flavor twist. This often costs me more than $2 a bottle, but it is well worth the cost. It could be psychological, but I do believe it actually makes the heat just a little more bearable! Tastes good too!

I don't know where you're from HRA, but water isn't free. I have to pump it out of the ground, with electricity that costs me money. Then I have to monitor it's quality, and my time aint free. Then I have to have several monthly, quarterly and annual test done, by labs that charge (handsomely) for their time. Then I have to purchase continuing education, so that Uncle Sam will allow me to continue to deliver water to my clients. I also have to spend countless hours a year, locating my pipelines, free of charge to the contractor, for anyone who wants to dig across any of my pipelines. And I haven't even scratched the surface. Do you how many hours a week, I spend, making sure my pipelines are properly protected from corrosion? That the pressures are (I live in the mountains) safe?
Free water? I'm all for it. SAFE free water? Keep dreaming. |

I am from Michigan. Fego...I don't know where YOU are from,
but to get a glass of water use to be free. I am not stuck on
stupid. I have senses enough to know that Lights,Gas,and water
bills have to be paid.
From reading your comments you must live in Saudia desert.
Also I suggest that since you have a computer visit some of
these Human Rights sites. Because you seem like you're on
another planet.
Like I said I am new here on this site, and until I know that
its okay to post backup urls (from the administrator). I
will not post no urls. However Fego, once I know its okay
to post urls. Believe me I will help you to understand the
global struggle concerning the global human rights violation
struggles. Until then sweat your a** off keeping your water
system germ free. |
