Hi,
Does anyone have more information about solar furnace? I would like to find some experiences of solar furnace able to reach 1000°C (1800°F), enough to cook pottery.
I know one solar oven like that exists in France (Odeillo & Mont Louis) but is there anything else ?
Thank you for all your comments&answers |

I found instructions on the web to construct a relatively affordable solar furnice using mirrors and that would reach 1000 degrees C. The Administrators on Science Clarified do not allow links to be posted, therefore I am unable to direct your inquiry.
It is an Infinitely large solar furnice, which had been experimentally proven to work. It was said to be able to reduce a beverage can into smoke within seconds. That is pretty hot.
Anyway. Good luck.

| I did try to post a link for the solar furnice. The computer will not let me post it. |
