It has been a while, but I was doing some research on RAYON (cellulose fiber made into clothing), and I think they used a basic solution (sodium hydroxide). I found a link

"howmadeDOTcomSLASHvolume-1SLASHrayon.html"

Replace the DOT with "." and SLASH with "/"
