I am wondering if there is such a thing as an X-ray that can see through metal alloys such as stainless steel, aluminum, or cobalt?
Can anyone help direct me to the right place.
Thanks

i have heard the term "x-ray a jet aircraft for stress cracks ",and it is stripped of the interior and cables for this, but im not sure if it is an actual x-ray. ya might check with an owner of an older leer type jet or an airfield inquiry.
Cool

XRay "sees" through all metal to varying degrees, even lead (which is usually used for shielding XRays).

X-Rays or Gamma Rays are high energy photons that will penetrate several feet of concrete and several inches of lead. Yes, X-Rays can "see" or pass through metal, as was suggested by nohow75. This a NDS (Nondestructive Testing) technique used for aircraft, vehicles and weld seams in industry and the military.
